Fairy-light backdrops, rangoli-inspired props, floral styling and table settings for Diwali, Navratri, Eid, Christmas and cultural celebrations — at homes, community halls and venues across Melbourne.
Festival events are their own kind of job. They're often booked at short notice, they frequently happen in a community hall or temple with a hard bump-in window, and the same space might be hosting another function two hours later. Guest numbers move right up until the week before, and the styling has to look generous without taking up the floor space people need for the actual celebration.
We style Diwali parties, Navratri nights, Eid gatherings, Christmas functions and community cultural events across Melbourne — for families at home, for community organisations in halls, and for businesses running festive functions for staff and clients. Take a few pieces as DIY hire, or hand us the whole room.
Warm-light curtains, shimmer walls and draped frames — the piece that turns a plain hall wall into the room's focal point.
Floor rangoli, diya arrangements, brass and marigold details, and traditional props that make the occasion legible at a glance.
Fresh or artificial florals and greenery, chosen for the season, the budget and how long the set-up needs to hold up.
Centrepieces, runners, candles and place settings for sit-down dinners, plus dessert and sweets tables.
Welcome signage, entrance styling and plinth arrangements that set the tone before guests are through the door.
Set up within your hall's access window and cleared the same night where the venue requires it.
Festive photo
Diwali is our busiest festive period — diyas, fairy lights, marigolds and rangoli, at homes and at community functions. Navratri needs floor space kept clear for garba, so the styling works around the edges of the room rather than through the middle.
Eid gatherings tend toward elegant table styling and entrance moments for family lunches and dinners. Christmas and end-of-year functions run from home dinners to full corporate parties. We also style Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Vaisakhi and community cultural nights — if it's a celebration, we can dress it.
Tell us which festival →We can style at any of these — including venues we haven't worked at before, where we'll confirm access and requirements with the coordinator ourselves.
Reception centres and function rooms around Cranbourne, Berwick, Narre Warren, Dandenong and Clayton, plus community halls and temples throughout the corridor.
Community centres and function spaces in Tarneit, Truganina, Point Cook and Werribee, where a large share of Melbourne's festive events are held.
Halls and function rooms around Rowville, Doncaster, Templestowe, Epping and Thomastown.
Living rooms, garages, back yards and driveways. A large share of Diwali styling we do is at home, and it's some of our favourite work.
We deliver festive décor throughout metropolitan Melbourne, with most festival work in the suburbs with the largest South Asian communities. In the South-East that means Cranbourne, Clyde, Berwick, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Noble Park, Springvale, Clayton, Keysborough, Pakenham, Hallam and Hampton Park. In the west, Tarneit, Truganina, Point Cook and Werribee. Through the east and north, Glen Waverley, Mount Waverley, Rowville, Doncaster, Templestowe, Epping and Thomastown.
If your suburb isn't listed, ask anyway — we cover the whole metropolitan area, and a travel fee only applies well outside it.
Yes. We cover metropolitan Melbourne, including the South-East corridor around Cranbourne, Berwick, Dandenong and Clayton, the western suburbs of Tarneit, Truganina, Point Cook and Werribee, and the eastern and northern suburbs including Glen Waverley, Rowville, Doncaster and Epping.
Fairy-light backdrops are the most requested piece by a wide margin, followed by diya and candle arrangements, floor rangoli, marigold and faux floral work, plinths and table centrepieces. For home celebrations a backdrop plus a styled table covers most of what people want.
Yes — community centres, halls and temples are a large part of our festive work. We coordinate with the hall manager on access times, what may be fixed to walls, and whether the space needs to be cleared the same night, which many community venues require.
It depends on whether you want a single backdrop or a fully styled room, and on the venue. Home celebrations are usually a backdrop, props and a styled table; a community hall function is a larger job with more floor and wall to cover. Send your date and location and we'll quote within 24 hours, itemised so you can adjust it.
Diwali week books out earliest, so as far ahead as possible is best. That said, festive events are often organised at short notice and we hold stock specifically for them — it's always worth asking, even in the final fortnight.
Yes. Backdrops, props, plinths and table pieces are all available as DIY hire, which is the most cost-effective option for a celebration at home. Larger installations and anything we're dressing are delivered and installed by us.
Send your date and location and we'll come back within 24 hours with ideas and pricing.

Wonderful work done by Neha!! Everyone was so impressed by the beautiful and appropriate decoration. We couldn’t have asked for more. But Neha went above and beyond - she was extremely responsive to the changing needs. The first photo shows the initial design. But when she realised that we needed a second jhoola, she went out of her way and provided us with a second matching one. We were delighted. Thanks for making this such a memorable evening for all of us.Posted on Google Shradhey SoniTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
